Contemporary Oil painter Esther van Helmont

I’m a 30-year-old artist from the Netherlands, born into a family where painting was always part of life. My grandfather (Peter Dillen) and mother (Kitty Dillen) both taught painting for many years, nurturing my creative spirit from a young age. Now, I find myself reconnecting with my roots and carving out my own artistic journey.

In my daily life, I work as a marketer and graphic designer, crafting visual narratives that inspire and engage. I’m also studying AI and sustainable technology at Tomorrow University, where I merge my creative background with forward-thinking innovation.

My art bridges tradition and modernity. Working primarily with oil paints, I create pieces that reinterpret classical styles with a contemporary twist.
